Study in Fifteen Tone Equal Temperament for Bells

I have been working on a lot of microtonal music projects lately. I have been playing and writing music for most of my life, but I am pretty new at producing music with a computer. It sometimes seems that it is easier to write music than produce it. Well, I wanted to start sharing some of my music with you, even if it isn't as professional as I would like. This first piece is a study in fifteen tone equal temperament (fifteen equally spaced notes to the octave instead of the usual twelve) for bells. This tuning has a lot of strange dissonances. I welcome your comments, both positive and negative. I may eventually improve or expand on this piece and your feedback will be helpful to me.

This is very nice, good job. Not dissonant at all.

Bells are a nice timbre for this. If you want it to all be bells, I'd only suggest using a slightly different bell timbre on the melody line. Or for the melody setting up a second version of the patch with the decay or release rates of your patch routed so that you can modulate them with a controller and pull back the decay segment a little bit during the faster passages. Kind of like setting up a sustain pedal, but only for bells.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm finishing up a different piece with a similar timbre, so I'll try your ideas.

Thanks for the piece. It has a good flow and retained my interest. A little less reverberation may allow give some intervals more piquancy.

really good, 15TET create serious beautiful maqams and it gives special feelings ...also i think about bells are special and they have pure timbre... It's come from somewhere between somewhere.. beyond east and west.. bravo to 15TET and your composition..
